I just have to say, Dinner for Schmucks was a good movie, and this unrelated clip is hilarious!

Oh boy...i was in plainville, hoping to go into Kohls. well the skies looked nasty and there was some clouds that were low, and i saw others rising into the sky. I freaked and pointed it out to my mom, snapped this shot and we took off. Got into New Britain and got hit with hail, heavy rain and crazy wind. There was a tornado warning, soooo maybe one was trying to form here? crazy lightning too whew!

I was watching the news today and saw this story about bees. In West Hartford center I guess a bunch of bees were possibly moving to a new nest and decided to stop and rest on someones car! no thanks! I'm glad it wasnt my car!

I got to work today and there was NO WHERE to park. I guess West Hartford has a sidewalk sale. Plus, its Friday, the parking lot is always more full on Fridays...ugh...

Still muggy as ever. I get it. Its summer, its going to get hot, and its going to get humid. but seriously, there hasnt been a nice day in a long time. Its been too hot and too humid.

Just give me fall! lol, I love fall!

I bought some decals for my nails...guess what they are...SQUIRRELS!! yes, what did you think they would be? ;)

I should mention that "Despicable Me" is a great movie!

You all should see it....for realz. Its funny, and its cute. The night my friends and I went, it was all adults watching the movie, so its not just for kids.

And I totally would like to have my own minion....or 5





IT'S SO FLUFFY!!

Its been a while

I see its been a while since I posted here....hmmm what have I been up to?

Not too much really. Even though I finished school in December I finally had commencement in May...so I did that, that was cool :)

After the past year or so of not feeling well, I finally got to see the doctor for a routine physical exam. I didn't have a lot of energy, random pains all over. Nothing physically wrong with me though. The doc said I have mild depression. While I didn't wanna admit I had it, it made sense somehow. Even though I HATE taking pills/medicine for anything, I followed the doc suggestion of going on Lexapro

I'm only on 5 mg a day, but I can say I do feel better. my mood overall is better, I don't have the pains I did. I have the energy I need (though the heat and humidity of late has sucked some of that out....gross)

Problem is my insurance wont cover it. So when I run out of lexapro, they want me on celexa. we'll see how that goes.

What else... hmm I ventured up to NH for a day (drove alone! gasp!) and met family up there. got my first ride on a jet ski...first drive too ;)

went to a mets/brewers game, had a good time there

went to my first ever Sonic drive thru (yum!)

I'm not as upset as I was with work. Work used to piss me off, but not so much anymore. Could it be the medicine? maybe. I still don't know what I want for a career. people always ask, but I got nothin for them.

They tell me to be a photographer. That would be nice, but my guess is competition is tough. But it is something I like doing. cvs is not a place I wanna stay forever. But its a good place to stay now, until I figure out what it is that I wanna do.

btw, the squirrels in my yard are nuts....

This Really Bugs Me

2 Recent News Stories, well theres a lot really but 2 that really get to me

1)

The Phoebe Prince story. What happened I think is horrible. Just horrible. Being bullied is no fun, and is nothing new. But to be driven to suicide by bullying is really bad. And the fact that she was still being harassed AFTER she died on her facebook memorial page makes me really sad. What made these "bullies" think it was ok to say such things to someone? of course they plead "not guilty" I wanna know how their parents feel. To know your kid could be so mean. They deserve whatever punishment they get served to them.

The Constance McMillen Story.

All she wanted to do was bring her girlfriend to prom with her. But the school district had (what i think) realllly stupid rule that your date had to be of the opposite sex. Ok thats stupid. So say you couldnt get a 'date' and wanted to go with your best friend who may be of the same sex, you cant go with them? right.....

So they cancel prom. Which is an all around suck for everyone. But what REALLY bothers me is what happened recently. The PARENTS set up a prom for Constance and her girlfriend and a few other friends. 7 people showed up. why? it was a FAKE. yes they went to a fake prom, while the rest of the class went to the real one.

Way to be a role model to your kids you freakin ass holes. Im assuming that the kids who went to the "real" prom knew about the fake, since the 7 had no idea i guess.

I dont get how they can think its ok to do something like that to a kid, when they did NOTHING wrong.

some people make me sick. i cant believe people could ever be so rude. but sadly they are out there.

Dreams

Some people remember theirs, some don't. I happen to remember mine. Usually arent too bad, just weird. Then again, I am weird. I've tried reading online trying to decipher what some of them mean. But it doesnt really get me anywhere. I notice sometimes my dreams are directly affected by what i did that day, or read, or thought of before sleeping.

i would like to be able to show others what i see in my dreams, but sometimes theres so much detail it would be impossible. its kinda like a "you had to be there" thing

It's crazy what the mind does. It goes off on its own, going wild. If we didnt sleep or dream well then we would really go insane.

My dreams happen to always be in color. Sometimes I can hear things, but thats usually associated to my actual surroundings in my room. Theres dialogue, i dont know about smell...but touch as well. ....i dont get those as much ;(

of course theres the occasional sleep sort of paralysis. i'll be running from something or trying to get away and try to scream only to wake up in a stuck position in bed. that kinda freaks me out.

But the other night I had a dream where the day repeated. I guess kinda like the movie "groundhog day" yet i've only seen about 10 minutes of that movie. but instead it was friday the 13th, talk about suck. but i know before bed that night i had been looking online at snorg tees and they had a cute one with michael myers from friday the 13th looking sad becuase it was friday the 12th haha. afterwords in this dream i remember looking at myself in the mirror. (doesnt mean im vain) haha....and in the dream i figured out it was a dream and figured i could wake up. and so i did. weird.

i hope tonite i can have some pleasant dreams ;)
